After joining, before a birthday, when someone hasn't been in for a set number of days, at a visit milestone, or when you start it.

The system picks the cheapest channel available: a Google Wallet notification, then e-mail, SMS last. Or you choose the channel.

Welcome
The days you set after joining — one by default — so it doesn't arrive in the same minute as the card.

Birthday
The days you set before the birthday — a week by default — once a year.

Has not visited in a while
When someone hasn't bought anything for the number of days you set, say three weeks.

Visit milestone
At the twentieth purchase, for example — once.

Manual campaign
A new product, a holiday: you start it, and everyone who opted in receives it.

Before starting you can see exactly who would receive it, and a single run reaches no more customers than the number you set (20 by default).

When do the messages go out?
Automatic campaigns check every morning at 9 who is due something. A manual campaign goes out when you start it.
Can someone get the same thing twice?
No. A campaign runs once per customer per occasion, and you can set how many days must pass before the same customer can get it again (a year by default).
What can I write in the message?
Your own words. The customer's name, your shop's name, their balance and a link to their card can be filled in automatically.
How do I know in advance how many people it will reach?
The preview shows exactly who would receive it now, and who is left out because they didn't opt in or can't be reached.
What do notifications cost?
E-mails and notifications to a card saved in Google Wallet cost nothing. SMS comes out of the plan's monthly allowance, and the automatic channel only sends an SMS to someone it can't reach any other way.
