How it gets onto the phone

The customer opens their card
After joining, the card opens as a web page, and on Android there is a button to save it to Google Wallet.

The card lands in the wallet in your colour, with your logo and your shop's address. It carries the same QR code you scan at the counter.

After every purchase and redemption the balance in the wallet updates too; the customer does nothing.

What the card in the wallet does

A notification on the lock screen
Your campaign message appears as a notification on the customer's phone, and the phone buzzes.

No per-message fee
That is why the automatic channel tries it first. If the customer hasn't saved the card, the message goes on by e-mail.

A reminder near your shop
The card carries your shops' locations, so the phone can bring it up nearby.

The same card
The card in the wallet shows the same QR code as the web card, so at the counter there is no difference.

Does it work on iPhone too?
Yes. On iPhone and Android alike the card opens in the browser, can be added to the home screen and is scanned at the counter the same way. Saving it to Google Wallet is available on Android.
What if the customer doesn't save it to the wallet?
They collect just the same: their card is a web page on their phone. Your messages then reach them by e-mail or SMS.
Does the customer need a Google account?
To save it to Google Wallet, yes, as for anything else in Google Wallet. Without one, the card still works in the browser.
Do I need to set anything up?
No. Loyaltee builds the wallet card from your programme: your shop's name, colour, logo and address go on it.
What do notifications cost?
E-mails and notifications to a card saved in Google Wallet cost nothing. SMS comes out of the plan's monthly allowance, and the automatic channel only sends an SMS to someone it can't reach any other way.
